1. Guest Terms & Conditions of Entry
1.1 Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Lavender Estate Pty Ltd, trading as Lavender Estate, is referred to as “Lavender Estate”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
- The term “Guest”, “you” or “your” refers to any individual, group, organisation, or entity who enters or uses the Lavender Estate premises, engages with our products or services, or otherwise interacts with the Estate.
- The “Estate” or “Venue” refers to all land, facilities, infrastructure and operations located at 272 Old Yanchep Road, Carabooda, Western Australia, including but not limited to the café, gardens, gift shop, playground, walking areas, production sheds, and farm facilities.
- “Experience” refers to any hosted activity or offering beyond general access, including (but not limited to) events, group bookings, tours, distillation demonstrations, or seasonal activations.
- “Terms” refers to the rules and conditions set out in this document and any additional rules or policies published by Lavender Estate (including our Privacy Policy, Booking Terms, and Online Store Terms).
By accessing the Estate, purchasing any product or service, or participating in any experience, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not enter the premises or proceed with your transaction.
1.2 Scope of Conditions
These Terms apply to all Guests visiting Lavender Estate for personal, group, or commercial purposes. This includes walk-in customers, Guests with table bookings, participants in hosted experiences, photographers, and function attendees.
Lavender Estate reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be published at www.lavenderestate.com.au. Continued access to the Estate or participation in its services implies acceptance of any updated Terms.
1.3 Opening Hours & Access
- General Trading Hours: The Estate is open Thursday to Sunday, please check advertised hours as these hours may be extended during school holidays or reduced in the event of private functions, maintenance, or adverse conditions.
- Seasonal Closures: The Estate may temporarily close part or all of the Venue for weather, farming operations, infrastructure works, or to prepare for peak flowering season.

Entry Fees:
- General access is currently free of charge.
- Lavender Estate reserves the right to introduce ticketed entry during major public events, seasonal activations, bloom season, or Christmas programming.
- Any applicable fees will be published in advance and clearly indicated on our website or booking platforms.

Arrival & Check-in:
- No check-in is required for general visitors.
- Guests with a booking should report to the café bar to confirm their arrival.
- Group bookings and experiences will be met by a designated Team member at the agreed meeting point and time.
1.4 Conditions of Entry
By entering Lavender Estate, you agree that:
- You are entering at your own risk and agree to exercise due care while onsite.
- You will follow all signage, directions, and instructions provided by our Team.
- You will behave respectfully toward Team members, other Guests, and the property.
- You are responsible for supervising all dependents in your care.
- You will not engage in any unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or unauthorised activities.
Lavender Estate reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Guest who does not comply with these Terms.
1.5 Food, Drink & Alcohol

No BYO: Guests are not permitted to bring any outside food or beverages onto the premises. This includes:
- Takeaway coffee or meals
- Homemade or pre-packed snacks
- Alcohol, cakes, or grazing boards
- Refillable water bottles (except those with medical or infant-related need)
- This policy ensures we meet hygiene standards and protect our café licence. Guests who bring unauthorised food or beverage items may be asked to return them to their vehicle or leave the Estate.

Café Service:
- Orders are placed at the café bar. Food is served takeaway-style.
- Ice cream and shop purchases may be paid at either the bar or the ice cream counter.
- Our Team will assist where possible with carrying orders to your table or lawn area.

Licensed Venue:
- Alcohol may only be consumed within designated licensed zones.
- BYO alcohol is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Lavender Estate practices Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) at all times.
1.6 Playground, Children & Safety
- Lavender Estate includes a shaded children’s playground located near the entrance.

Supervision:
- The playground is unsupervised by staff.
- Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times.
- Guests use the playground at their own risk.

Proximity Warnings:
- The playground is near:
- The internal vehicle access road
- Outdoor café seating
- The main car park
- For safety, we recommend an adult be within arm’s reach of any child under 6.
- The playground is near:
- Lavender Estate accepts no responsibility for injury or loss resulting from unsupervised play or unsafe behaviour.
1.7 Dogs & Companion Animals
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leash and under adult supervision.
- Guests must:
- Keep pets on a secure lead at all times
- Clean up all waste immediately and dispose of it responsibly
- Keep pets out of indoor café and food service zones
- Ensure pets do not disrupt wildlife, other Guests, or children
- Aggressive or excessively noisy dogs may be asked to leave the premises. Pet owners are liable for any damage caused by their animal.
- Assistance animals are permitted in all public areas, in accordance with WA law.
1.8 Prohibited Areas & Activities
The following areas are off-limits to Guests unless part of a guided tour or supervised experience:
- Lavender processing sheds
- Storage sheds or plant rooms
- Farm equipment zones
- Private residences or staff facilities
- Roped, gated, or signed “Team Only” areas
Guests must not:
- Climb fences, walls, trees, or structures
- Pick or damage plants, including lavender
- Light fires, candles, or fireworks
- Smoke or vape (Lavender Estate is a smoke-free venue, please ask the Team for assistance finding the designated smoking area)
Breach of these conditions may result in immediate removal from the property and possible police involvement.
1.9 Guest Property, Behaviour & Liability
- Lost Property: Items found onsite will be stored for 7 days. Please email us at info@lavenderestate.com.au to arrange collection. Unclaimed items may be donated or discarded.

Damage & Liability:
- Guests are liable for any intentional or negligent damage caused to the Venue, furnishings, or landscaping.
- Lavender Estate is not responsible for the loss of personal items.
- Entry to the Estate and participation in its services is undertaken at the Guest’s own risk.
1.10 Force Majeure
Lavender Estate is not liable for failure to deliver services or experiences due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Weather, bushfire or flood
- Infrastructure failure
- Pandemic or health order
- Government restrictions or force majeure events
Where possible, Guests will be notified, and options to reschedule or credit may be offered.
2. Online Store Refunds & Returns Policy
2.1 Scope & Application
This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to all purchases made via the official Lavender Estate Online Store (www.lavenderestate.com.au) and to in-person product sales at our physical location.
Many of our products are handcrafted in small batches and are designed for topical, food-grade, or personal use. We are committed to quality and safety, and we ask that all Guests review this policy before completing a purchase.
This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your entitlement to a refund or replacement for products that are faulty, unsafe, or not as described.
2.2 Shipping & Delivery Terms
- Dispatch Times: Orders are typically dispatched within 3-5 business days of payment. Orders are dispatched weekly.
- Metro Perth Delivery: We offer free delivery for orders over $50 to selected Perth Metro postcodes. A standard flat-rate fee applies of $10 to orders under $50. Fixed delivery days may apply.
- Flat Rate Shipping: We offer free delivery for orders $100 or over to Australian capital city postcodes. A standard flat-rate fee applies of $15 to orders under $100 for Australian capital city postcodes, visible at checkout.
- Regional Shipping: $15 Flat Rate Delivery applies to postcodes outside of Australian capital cities.
- International Shipping: Please contact us directly on store@lavenderestate.com.au.
Lavender Estate is not responsible for shipping delays caused by third-party providers once the item has left our premises.
2.3 Online Order Corrections
If you have made a mistake on your order (such as entering the wrong shipping address or selecting the wrong item), please contact us immediately at store@lavenderestate.com.au.
We will do our best to amend your order before dispatch. If your order has already been shipped, further shipping or redirection costs may apply.
2.4 Refunds & Returns
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
However, at our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit in the following circumstances:
The item is unused, unopened, and in its original condition and packaging
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is presented
- The request is made within 21 days of purchase or delivery
Exchanges are subject to stock availability and approval by our Team.
Not Eligible for Exchange:
- Any item that has been opened, used, or tampered with
- Seasonal or limited-edition products (e.g. Christmas gift packs, flower season bundles)
- Custom hampers, gift boxes or made-to-order packs
- Items purchased as part of a bundle unless all items in that bundle are returned
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before sending your return.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:
- Damaged in transit
- Faulty or defective
- Incorrect or not as described
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery via email to store@lavenderestate.com.au and include the following:
- Order number or receipt
- Description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging (including shipping box and label if applicable)
We will assess the situation and may offer one of the following:
- A replacement product (preferred)
- A refund to your original payment method
- A store credit, if preferred by you
All claims must be submitted within 21 days of receipt of your order.
If an item is consumed or used after a defect has been noticed, we may not be able to offer a replacement or refund.
How to Return an Item
- In Person: Returns can be made directly at the Lavender Estate gift shop during opening hours. Please bring your item, packaging, and proof of purchase.
- By Post: Returns can also be sent via post. Please:
- Email us first to obtain return approval
- Securely package the item to avoid damage in transit
- Include your name, order number, and a reason for return
- Use a tracked postal service

Unless the product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, return postage is at the customers expense.
Return Postage & Refund Timeframes
If your return is approved due to damage or fault:
- We will provide a prepaid return label, or
- We will reimburse standard return postage
Refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days of receiving the returned item and will be credited to the original payment method. Refunds to Afterpay or other third-party providers may take additional processing time outside of our control.
2.5 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a replacement, refund, or compensation where a product:
- Is faulty or damaged
- Is significantly different from its description
- Is unfit for its intended purpose
We are committed to resolving such matters fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with the law.
2.6 Gift Cards
Lavender Estate gift cards purchased online may be redeemed online; physical gift vouchers purchased in store may be redeemed in either online or at our retail store location. Always treat gift cards like cash, as defaced, lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.
- Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
- Gift card balances cannot be transferred between cards
- Partial redemptions are permitted - any remaining balance will stay on the card for future use
- Gift cards can be used in conjunction with other promotions and discounts
- Expired gift cards cannot be redeemed or refunded
Purchasing Gift Cards: If you would like to purchase a gift card online, please visit our Gift Cards collection. If you wish to purchase a physical gift card, please visit our retail store or contact our Customer Service Team.
Usage: Present your gift card at checkout (online or in-store) to apply the balance to your purchase. For online purchases, enter your gift card code at checkout. Any amount exceeding the gift card balance must be paid by an alternative payment method.
3. Photography, Privacy, and Venue Use
3.1 Overview
Lavender Estate is a place of beauty, creativity, and connection. We welcome personal photography and understand that Guests love to document their visit. This section outlines how photography, videography, and content shared with us is used, as well as our expectations regarding privacy, commercial shoots, drone use, and access to private areas. We also outline how Lavender Estate handles Guest information, both onsite and online, in accordance with Australian privacy standards.
3.2 Personal Photography & Social Sharing
We encourage Guests to take personal photos and videos for private use. Lavender Estate is a photogenic location, and we love seeing our farm through your eyes.
Personal photography is permitted provided that:
- You remain on designated walkways, grassed areas, and accessible gardens
- You do not enter any roped-off, planted, or private zones
- You do not interfere with other Guests’ experience or safety
- You respect the privacy of others (especially children and families)
Sharing on Social Media:
If you post content from your visit and tag @lavenderestate, or use branded hashtags (e.g. #lavenderestate), you grant us the right to:
- Repost or share your content across our owned channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, newsletters, and website)
- Credit your handle or name where practical
If you'd prefer that your content not be used, just let us know — and we’ll remove it promptly.
3.3 Commercial Photography, Filming & Styled Shoots
Lavender Estate is a working farm, not a photography studio — but we do accommodate commercial shoots where they align with our brand and Guest experience.
Commercial, branded, or styled photography must be pre-approved, including:
- Wedding, engagement, maternity or family sessions using professional equipment
- Influencer or promotional content
- Editorial shoots or brand collaborations
- Any photography using props, signage, stylists or lighting setups
To request approval:
Please email info@lavenderestate.com.au with:
- Date and time of proposed shoot
- Type of photography (personal, influencer, commercial etc.)
- Number of people involved
- Equipment and props to be used
- Intended usage of the final content
Fees may apply, and availability may be restricted during peak visitation periods (especially during bloom season).
Unapproved shoots may be asked to cease immediately, particularly if they interfere with safety, access, or other Guests.
3.4 Drone Use
Due to safety risks and Guest privacy, drone use is not permitted without prior written consent.
Drone flights may be approved in limited cases for professional shoots, provided:
- Operators hold a valid CASA license (for commercial use)
- Flights comply with all safety regulations and airspace restrictions
- No individuals are filmed without their consent
- All flights avoid proximity to the playground, car parks, buildings or livestock
Drone operators without authorisation may be asked to leave the property and/or delete footage captured onsite.
3.5 Privacy & Security Cameras
Lavender Estate uses CCTV in some public areas to ensure safety, monitor operations, and support incident investigations. These cameras:
- Do not use facial recognition
- Do not record audio
- Are not used for Guest profiling or marketing
Footage is securely stored and only accessed when required for safety, loss, or misconduct investigations.
3.6 Onsite Filming by Lavender Estate
From time to time, Lavender Estate may film or photograph onsite for promotional or archival purposes — particularly during events or peak seasons.
These activities may capture general crowd scenes, backgrounds, or environmental shots. If you are identifiable in such content:
- We will never knowingly use your image out of context or without consideration
- If you prefer not to be featured, please speak to our Team at the time
We aim to be discreet and respectful at all times.
3.7 Photography of Children
Guests must not photograph or film children who are not part of their own group, especially in areas such as the playground or café.
If any Team member observes behaviour that could impact another family’s comfort or privacy, they may intervene or ask for footage to be deleted. Our priority is always Guest wellbeing.
3.8 Use of Lavender Estate Property in Promotions
Use of the Lavender Estate name, brand, logo, location or likeness in advertising or commercial promotions (online or offline) without prior written approval is strictly prohibited.

4. Café, Dining, Bookings & Guest Hospitality Terms
Lavender Estate operates a licensed café and takeaway-style food outlet offering seasonal meals, sweet treats, and regional drinks. Dining is casual and unstructured, with open-air seating and shared lawns available for Guests to enjoy their food and beverages. The following terms apply to all dining, bookings, and hospitality-related use of the property.
4.1 General Café & Dining Use
- The café is open to all Guests Thursday to Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm (unless otherwise stated).
- Walk-in Guests are welcome. Orders are placed and paid for at the main bar.
- Food is served takeaway-style and designed to be enjoyed at picnic tables, lawn areas, and under shaded trees.
- Guests may not rearrange café tables or seating without approval from our Team.
- Lavender Estate reserves the right to limit access to specific areas of the property during events or maintenance.

Outside speakers, glitter and confetti are not permitted anywhere on the property.Guests wishing to bring decorations are asked to contact our Team prior to their visit for approval.
4.2 Outside Food & Drink
Lavender Estate is a licensed and fully catered venue. To uphold our health and safety standards:
Guests are not permitted to bring any outside food or drink onto the property, including but not limited to:
• Home-packed picnics or packed lunches
• Grazing platters or charcuterie boxes
• Takeaway coffee, soft drinks, or bottled water
Guests are welcome to bring their own celebration cake. A cakeage fee of $15 applies.
This policy helps us comply with food safety regulations and liquor licensing requirements. It also ensures we can deliver a consistent and high-quality experience for all Guests.
If outside food or drink is found, Guests will be asked to return it to their vehicle.
Exceptions may apply for:
- Infant food or formula
- Medically required meals or supplements (please speak to our Team prior to your visit)
4.3 Table Reservations (2-20 Guests)
- Reservations may be made online for groups of up to 20 Guests.
- Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via NowBookIt.
- A table booking holds seating for 90 minutes during busy periods or peak weekends.
- Guests with a confirmed reservation should check in at the café bar on arrival.
- Bookings will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes after the scheduled time before being released.
- A credit card pre-authorisation may be required to secure your booking. This is not charged unless the group fails to attend or cancels late (see 4.7).
Multiple bookings made under different names for the same group may be refused or consolidated at Lavender Estate’s discretion. We appreciate your honesty when booking for groups.
4.4 Group Bookings (20+ Guests)
- Groups of 20+ Guests are required to book in advance via our contact form or phone.
- Reserved shaded seating is available for large groups, subject to availability.
- A credit card pre-authorisation may be required to secure your booking. This is not charged unless the group fails to attend or cancels late (see 4.7).
- Final Guest numbers and any catering requests must be confirmed at least 5 days in advance.
4.5 Hosted Experiences & Tours
Lavender Estate offers scheduled experiences such as guided farm tours, distillation workshops, and hosted group sessions.
- Minimum numbers apply.
- Hosted sessions must be booked in advance and confirmed in writing by our Team.
- Full payment is required no later than 5 business days before the event date.
- Packages include fixed inclusions and timeframes. Custom changes may not be accommodated once confirmed.
- Lavender Estate reserves the right to postpone, adjust or cancel scheduled experiences due to weather, equipment availability, or farm operations. In these instances, Guests will be offered an alternate date or store credit.
Each experience has its own published pricing and inclusions, which will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Cancellation terms for these sessions may vary and will be provided with your booking confirmation.
4.6 Private Functions & Exclusive Use
Lavender Estate may accept private hire enquiries for weddings, elopements, brand activations, or exclusive functions.
- All requests must be submitted in writing to the Lavender Estate Team.
- Approvals are granted at our discretion and may be subject to:
- Minimum spend thresholds
- Seasonal blackout dates (e.g. public holidays or bloom peak)
- Specific insurance or hire conditions
Separate event agreements, hire conditions, and payment terms apply, and will be issued at the time of booking confirmation.

4.7 Cancellations, No-Shows & Fees
- Bookings require a credit card pre-authorisation. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours may incur a $5 per Guest cancellation fee.
- Group bookings (20+ Guests) require a credit card pre-authorisation. No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours may incur a $5 per Guest cancellation fee.

Hosted experiences and private events are governed by separate terms. In most cases:
- Cancellations within 5 days are non-refundable.
- Changes requested within 72 hours may not be accommodated.
Cancellation fees will be charged to the card used for pre-authorisation unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing.
APPENDIX 1. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO POLICY
We love seeing Guests capture their special moments at Lavender Estate! To ensure a great experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines.
Private Photography
· Fee: $55 per hour (payable in advance)
· Social Media Tagging: Photos must tag @lavenderestate when shared online.
· Maximum of two bookings at any one time.
· Pre-booking and pre-payment are required.
Terms and Conditions
· You’re welcome to use any public areas of the Estate for your photos.
· Please do not stand on top of lavender or damage plants.
· All photo subjects must be appropriately clothed.
· No crude, offensive, or brand-damaging images may be taken.
· No signs, props, umbrellas, or equipment may be attached to walls, fences, posts, or trees without prior approval.
· Lavender Estate’s name and logo are registered trademarks and cannot be used commercially without written permission.
· Guests are financially responsible for any property damage during shoots.
By booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
APPENDIX 2. WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION ENQUIRIES
We’re delighted that you’re considering Lavender Estate for your special day! Please review the following information before submitting your enquiry:
Wedding Ceremonies
Lavender Estate is a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies.
Our dedicated wedding area is currently under development and is expected to be completed in the coming years.
In the meantime, we may be able to accommodate small-scale ceremonies in selected areas of the Estate, subject to availability and approval.
Wedding Receptions
At this stage, Lavender Estate does not host full wedding receptions.
As our facilities evolve and new spaces are developed, we hope to be able to offer this in the future.
